"Affirmative Action"

Affirmative action is described as "policies aimed at a historically socio-politically non-dominant group to better their cause and promote easier access to education and employment. This means that those of minority race (non-Caucasian) are treated better by educators and employers in an effort to correct past in-tolerances. This means that almost anyone that has gone to school or has a job has been effected by affirmative action in bias. Should a minority get better grades or higher pay on that basis alone? Our courts look more at race then the nature of the crime because we have so many liberal attorneys willing to defend an induvidual based on race alone then the crime commited. Why should the present generation have to suffer intolerence based on discrimination that took place before our own birth? Educate yourself on this! We have the power to gain knowledge now and bring change later. Remember to always believe in REAL equality.
